YUNGBLUD has been outspoken through their music and attitudes since 2018’s 21st Century Liability. Back with the new acoustic version of “Fleabag”, YUNGBLUD is taking their unique image through the UK on their 2021 tour. Working alongside some of the hottest acts like KSI, Halsey, and Bring Me the Horizon- who he recently joined on stage at their show at the O2 for the song “Obey”. Following their huge performance at Reading and Leeds main-stage west, YUNGBLUD has been on his Life Is Mars Tour UK that started late September.
YUNGBLUD tried to provide gender-neutral facilities at every date on his Life On Mars Tour which touring through the UK. It started on the 27th of September at Brighton’s Dome and will be running through till the 19th of October after a double show at Mountford Hall in Liverpool. “I know how hard it is for non-binary people at gigs sometimes, like going to the toilet and stuff, so that’s happening,” said YUNGBLUD in the video regarding the current toilet-based issue. He calls out Newcastle for “living in the dark ages” where they denied his request for gender-neutral bathrooms to be provided. The video shows him after putting up his own sign for the toilets, closing the video by saying “If the council have got a fucking problem with it, talk to me.”. This has been a big debate for a long time, and it is good to finally see some action taken towards solving it.
The Life On Mars tour will see YungBlud continue through a double show at Birmingham’s O2 Academy, Leeds University refectory, and a double show at Mountford Hall in Liverpool.
