Nottingham duo Young T and Bugsey have teamed up with Lutons Nafe Smallz on their new hit ‘Prada bae’.
The track produced by Quincy Tellem is shot in and around what looks to be a country house, the shots mainly take place in the garden area around the neatly cut bushes and flowers. The light and the pleasing video matches the song which shows signs of a summer hit. Things that Nafe and Young t and Bugsey are no stranger to.
Young T and Bugsey had the first global lockdown in a chokehold with their hit ‘Don’t rush’ featuring Headie One which currently has over 150 million Spotify streams due to going viral with the Tiktok challenge ‘the don’t rush challenge’. The duo also released their debut project in 2020 at the start of the pandemic, the timing for that sadly didn’t have the same effect as their smash single. The project titled ‘Plead the 5th’ could have been expected to do much better than how it did, in an episode of ‘After Hours’ on Gaffers Youtube hosted by Krept and Konan the Nottingham duo said on there that “We dropped out mixtape just at the start of covid, so we wasn’t able to promote our mixtape the easy that it should have been”.

The duo did however continuing going from strength to strength, releasing multiple international remixes for ‘Don’t Rush’ featuring Dabbaby, Busta rhymes, french artists Dadju and German Gringo. As well as this they appeared on the single ‘Princess cuts’ for Headie ones chart-topping album ‘Edna’ and have continued to release high energy feel-good music.
Nafe Smallz features on the new track ‘Prada bae’, his effortless flow allows him to float on the Quincy Tellem beat. The Luton rapper has worked closely with Quincy Tellem who produced a large number of songs on Nafes joint tape with M Huncho titled ‘DNA’.
Nafe often makes an impact on his feature having appeared on Skepta’s track ‘Greaze mode’, Yxng Banes ‘Dancing on ice’ as well as creating his own hist such as ‘Bad to the bone’ and recent single ‘Highs and lows’
