The ninth annual Wireless Festival is set to start all over again later on today, with some of the biggest names in pop, hip hop and dance music ready to come together to entertain the London crowd.
The festivities will be taking place at the Olympic Park in Stratford this year instead of the usual location of Hyde Park due to curfew issues. Huge acts such as Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Emeli Sande will be performing over the three days, with both Jay-Z and Justin set to perform as a duo to close the festival this Sunday. The performance will serve as a very lucky exclusive sneak preview of what lays in store ahead of their North American ‘Legends of Summer Tour’. It is also going to be the first time they have ever performed for more than one song on stage, allowing the two musical titans to sing, swoon and serenade the 60,000 strong expected crowd.
However, if Jay-Z and Justin don’t get you excited, there’s plenty more on offer to whet your appetite. Also headlining on the Sunday are Northamptonshire electro glam quartet Fenech-Soler, bringing their eclectic dance pop to Stratford. Offering a nice alternative to the stomping main stage duo, Fenech-Soler will allow you to dance the weekend away, allowing you to look back on what promises to be a weekend to remember.
If you are interested then there are still day tickets available for both the Friday and Sunday, allowing you to see a range of artists from Conor Maynard to Wretch 32, and Rizzle Kicks to Magnetic Man. You can find these at http://www.wirelessfestival.co.uk/tickets
