Will Young is remembered for being the winner of Pop Idol in 2002, he released his debut album “From Now On” following his win and celebrated the album reaching Number 1 in the UK Charts.
Young is not only a successful Musician of 19 years but he is also an activist, author, radio presenter, DJ and has also acted on stage, in film and TV productions. The musician has also released, seven Studio album’s to date and is now set to release his eighth Studio album “Crying on The Bathroom Floor” on 6th August.

Young explains that his new album features songs that he has reimagined previously sang by female Artists. The musician expressed that he admires female Artists such as Solange, Robyn, Lykke and Cam. Their songs also feature on his new album.
Young describes his first single release “Daniel” released on the 26th April as a classic take on the 2009 song by Bat for Lashes and stated that “In today’s times it’s so much easier and accepted to occupy other genders, ideas and explore new avenues”
The musician further stated that “I wanted to understand what it might be like to sing their lyrics; a song about a boy called Daniel; crying on the bathroom floor, feeling like Elizabeth Taylor”
Richard X is the Producer of “Crying on The Bathroom Floor” and this is his third time as a Producer of Young’s albums (Richard X also Co-Produced Will Young’s Albums “Echoes” and “Lexicon“)
The musician has also announced intimate acoustic shows to promote his new album.
