Ahead of their UK tour this February, which culminates at London’s Alexandra Palace, Enter Shikari have released a video of them performing an acoustic set in the legendary venue’s rarely seen Victorian Theatre.
Performing in the decrepit venue – largely empty bar a handful of family and friends and competition winners- the band rattle off acoustic versions of ‘Torn Apart’, ‘Myopia’, ‘One True Colour’ and ‘Juggernauts’. Armed with a plethora of acoustic instruments including ukulele, trumpet and xylophone, the stripped back songs feel even more rustic performed in the antiquated theatre. You can watch the set below:
The band announced they will be releasing EP of the acoustic set, featuring ‘Torn Apart’, ‘Myopia’, ‘One True Colour’ from the set.
The band also recently released a new single called Redshift, their first new song since their 2015 album The Mindsweep. Combined with this acoustic set, the band have been dialing up the hype for their February tour, which will be their biggest headline tour to date.
