Unknown T has announced his upcoming album ‘ADOLESCENESE’ set to release on the 30th of July this year, the 2nd project from the young rapper out of Homerton, East London.
The 21-year-old took to his Instagram to share the news, posting the mixtape cover alongside a message explaining his process behind the project.
Unknown Ts debut project ‘Rise above hate’ released in July 2020 almost 2 years after his breakout track ‘Homerton B’ which sat in the UK charts for 17 weeks.
The rapper who stands out from the rest of the UK rap scene due to his skippy flow, deep voice and unique style, was cleared of a murder in February 2020 having been arrested in July 2019.
Following his release, the artist still maintaining a buzz from his hit record ‘Homerton B’ released ‘Fresh Home’ and ‘Squeeze and Buss’ before releasing his debut project ‘Rise above hate’.
Ts debut project was reflective of all he had gone through in the year prior to its release, from being one of the biggest names in the UK rap scene to being arrested for a murder. Songs like ‘Tug boy’, ‘Prison’ and ‘Deh deh’ were all reflective of the life the now famed rapper had lived and the experiences he had gone through. The project ended with ‘Ambition’ where T set out his ambition to take over the rap game. Ahead of his upcoming release, the Homerton rapper said “This body of work is my deepest so far, represent growth within my music and me as a person” in the caption announcing the new project.
This year has already started strongly for the 21-year-old, having walked for Louis Vuitton for their 2022 men collection as well as releasing a project alongside his group the 98s at the end of 2020. The rapper also released a Colors where he performed a song of his upcoming project titled ‘Goodums’.
