American metal titans Trivium anounced four exclusive dates for a small UK Tour in November 2021 alongside German metalcore veterans Heaven Shall Burn, local Milton Keynes prog/djent heroes Tesseract and New Jersey deathcore outfit Fit For An Autopsy. The monumental line-up will hit the UK on 11 November starting from Glasgow and carrying on through Birmingham (12/11), Manchester (13/11) and London (14/11) before continuing in mainland Europe until the end of the month.
The full European tour was announced earlier last month but the absence of any UK dates caused an uproar across the bands’ social media channels and the great news were delivered yesterday with the caption “UK, we heard you loud and clear!” Tickets for all four dates go in general sale at 4pm on Wednesday 9 December via Trivium’s official website. The tour is officially sponsored by the renowned German metal retailer Impericon and merch store EMP.

Trivium hardly need an introduction with almost two decades of dictating the trends in the global contemporary metal scene and hailed as one of the most influential heavy music band in the new millennium. With their first three records certified gold in the UK, the band has a particularly solid local fan base and have scored six top 20 Album Chart entries across their last seven releases. Their latest What The Dead Man Say came out 24 April this year via Roadrunner Records and peaked at #12, with Kerrang! giving it 4/5 and praising the band for “being one of the greatest 21st century metal bands” and Louder adding they truly are “on the form of their lives right now“.
Equally influential, German metalcore/deathcore godfathers Heaven Shall Burn also find themselves at the peak of their music career after storming the Central European Charts with their ninth studio record Of Truth and Sacrifice released on 20 March 2020 via Century Media. Well known worldwide for openly criticising issues with racism, social opression and animal welfare, the band collaborated with the extreme non-profit marine conservation organisation Sea Shepherd in February for the single ‘My Heart And The Ocean‘ raising awareness of whaling and ocean pollution. Claiming a record top spot in Germany alongside #4 in Austria and #6 Switzerland, the quintet is ready to finally return to the UK after 7 years and deliver yet another “massive” memorable set.

Representing the UK on the monumental line-up are Milton Keynes djent/prog metal heavyweights Teserract. With four critically acclaimed studio albums, the quintet has quickly earned the reputation of one of the leading British bands in the genre, boasting an almost cult status amongst their loyal fanbase. Few years ago frontman Dan Tompkins started a solo project, releasing the debut album Castles in 2019 and recently announcing its heavier re-work Ruins for this Friday 11 December, featuring the exciting collaboration ‘The Gift‘ with Matt Heafy of Trivium.
Tesseract’s last album Sonder came out in April 2018 via Kscope but they have been fairly quiet since, with no hints on new material expected any time soon. The band is bringing the unique live cinematic experience ‘Portals‘ this Saturday 12 December, with tickets for the virtual show available here.
Joining Trivium, Heaven Shall Burn and Tesseract as special guests are the US deathcore outfit Fit For An Autopsy, bringing their latest 2019 record The Sea Of Tragic Beasts to the UK for the first time. All dates for the joined UK tour are listed bellow:
