The Who are set to play their smallest live show in 40 years on February 14, 2020. The never to be repeated acoustic gig will commemorate the 50th anniversary since their famous ‘Live In Leeds’ show.
They will be playing to a 2000-capacity crowd at Pryzm, at 154 Clarence Street in Kingston Upon Thames, England.
Tickets with special bundles of The Who’s latest LP were available through Banquet Records, but have now completely sold out.
Recently The Who released the third single ‘I Don’t Wanna Get Wise’, lifted from their latest album, ‘Who’, the first studio work from the band in over a decade.
Four tracks have been added to the deluxe edition of the album, ‘This Gun Will Misfire’, ‘Danny & His Ponies’, ‘Got Nothing to Prove’ and ‘Sand’. The first two tracks were written and recorded for the ‘Who’ album and the latter two were unfinished projects dating back to the mid-1960s, only now finished by the band.

Back in November, The Who were honored with the first plaque in London’s Music Walk Of Fame. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend revealed the plaque in Camden Town, presented the award by Bobby Gillespie, (Primal Scream).
“Camden has always been vital to London’s thriving music scene and is, as we all know, a world-renowned hub for the arts. As Londoners, it’s very surreal to be immortalised in stone on Camden High Street, and it’s quite something to know that people can pop by and see us anytime, albeit virtually!”
