Last month The Killers teased a snapshot of potential song titles onto their Instagram. Track titles in the list include ‘Blowback’, ‘Party People’, ‘When Dreams Run Dry’, ‘Dying Breed’, ‘Caution’ and ‘Man + Woman’. These tracks were given large ticks, suggesting they were confirmed for the sixth album.
Further names included, ‘Spirit of Mystery’, ‘My God’, ‘Running Towards’, ‘Fire + Bone’, ‘Just Can’t Quit’ and ‘Mirage C’est La Vie’.
The Guardian praised The Killers Glastonbury 2019 set, summarising the five star review with, “But the sight of Flowers, a noted Pet Shop Boys and Smiths obsessive, living out his dreams on stage provides it with something else: one of those elusive Glastonbury Moments festivalgoers talk so much about. Indeed, it’s hard not look up at the stage and say: those are the sons of bitches that did it.”
