Rock icons The Darkness has released a new title track from their forthcoming album that is out on 19th November via Cooking Vinyl. The record can be pre-ordered here.
The Darkness’ vocalist Justin Hawkins commented on the single: “‘Motorheart’ rocks harder than anything we’ve done before. It makes me happy and proud to crank it up and literally shake my Swiss chalet to its foundations. The new single is 80’s inspired, “rock and roll extravagance” with Justin Hawkins “trademark vocals soar to ever more earthquaking levels“. Check out the “Motorheart” single below.
The band first announced the upcoming album back in June. At that time they shared: “The time has come, the walrus said…to put your fookin pants on your head and rock like Satan is eating your private parts with a pointy fork! Yes, we, The Darkness, are the fuck back on tour, praise Satan’s better half…come and party with us like it’s the last orders at the last chance saloon”.
The Darkness will perform live at various venues across the UK, starting in Brighton in November and finishing in London at the end of December. “A true spectacle to behold, fans will be treated to brand new songs from the album as well as hits from across their award-winning, platinum selling back catalogue“shared press release.
