All funds from the event will go to help Greater Manchester Mayor’s Homeless Charity, who say “The Mayor of Greater Manchester’s Charity has chosen to support A Bed Every Night – combatting the humanitarian crisis on our streets. A Bed Every Night, launched in the autumn, is a commitment to deliver a place to sleep; plus hot food, a hot shower and targeted support for everyone sleeping rough in the city-region.No other area of the country is providing the same level of targeted support for people sleeping rough – the scheme is a concerted and co-ordinated effort to address levels of street homelessness in locations across the city-region.Roughly 300 individuals are indoors every night of the week across Greater Manchester thanks to the programme, and since its launch at the start of November more than 500 individuals have entered A Bed Every Night locations and subsequently stabilised to the extent they are now living in separate safe and secure longer-term accommodation. For further information see https://bedeverynight.co.uk/“
Further announcements of bands playing will be unveiled in the next few weeks, as the event attempts to make a real difference, to both the music calender, and the lives of vulnerable people in and around Manchester
