The 1975 have recently released a new video for their hit song ‘Sincerity is Scary’ which is currently pushing to 1M+ views on YouTube and #1 trending. The song will be featured on their upcoming third album “A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships” which will come out next week (November 30th).
The song is an upbeat track highlighting another side of society and the world we live in. It is a dance-filled video which undeniably uplifts his supporter’s mood after watching the video. Throughout the band make references to their previous videos by having a face-painted child reflecting the frontman appearance in the ‘A Change of Heart’ video. Near the ending of the scene, you see Matt Healy and everyone dancing with a sign behind them that reads “La poesie est dans la rue” a phrase which the band has used several times including in the track ‘Love It If We Made It’.
The 1975 have yet again produced another hit with this track undoubtedly going to make people get up and dance. Yesterday the band announced that they have been confirmed as one of the headliners for next years Reading and Leeds festivals. They will join other musicians like Post Malone, Foo Fighters & Twenty-One Pilots next summer.
