The 1975 have promoted an opportunity for couples to feature in their upcoming music video. A post from the band’s record label Dirty Hit announced that they’d be filming on January 18 and requested for couples to take part.
To do so, they’d simply need to email their name, address, age, as well as a photo of the two of them together to the 1975@dirtyhit.co.uk. Former Waterloo Road star, and Matt Healy’s mum, Denise Welch, took a cheeky snap with her husband in response to Dirty Hit’s post.
With ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ out on February 21, it would seem likely the music video is connected to an upcoming single from the record. No further details have been confirmed at this time.
We’re filming a new @the1975 video in London on 18th January. We’re looking for couples to be a part of the video, if you’d like to be involved please email your name, address, age and a photo of you and your other half to the1975@dirtyhit.co.uk

The 1975 premiered ‘Frail State Of Mind’ for the first time at Camden’s BB&T Pavilion in New Jersey. Check out the track at the link below. The NME review of ‘Frail State Of Mind’ reads: “The 1975 have once again made something that speaks very realistically to our modern condition.”
“It’s about anxiety”, frontman Matty Healy told Zane Lowe, adding, “We’ve having a global anxiety attack.”
Along with ‘Frail State Of Mind’, their previous singles include the opener, ‘The 1975′, featuring a Greta Thunberg monologue, followed by the grungey ‘People’, described as “a complete act of sabotage and rebellion.”
In December, The 1975 rescheduled their European Tour in a bid to complete the album. They were set for a run of shows from February 2020, but altered their timeline, meaning they’ll begin their Europe shows from October 2020 instead.
Their first gig in the tour will see the band perform in Barcelona on October 3. Their UK gigs for February 2020 remain unchanged. The European leg will see them play in cities including Madrid, Paris, Antwerpen, Frankfurt, and Munich, ending in Oslo on November 1.
