Popstar Zara Larsson, whose hits include “Ain’t My Fault” and “Never Forget You”, has confirmed that her new project, Venus, will be released on the 9 February of next year. The LP will be the star’s fourth studio album and will arrive ahead of the 25-year-old’s upcoming tour.
Fans who can’t wait to see the star in glittering action have a chance to snag tickets now, if they pre-order the new album by 31 October. The general sale for the tour will open just a few days later, on the 3 November.
Venus has already become a promising record. The album, which will be released by Larsson’s own label Sommer House and Black Butter/Sony, includes hits such as the lead single “Can’t Tame Her” and “On My Love”. The first single from the new album has become an international success – charting in multiple countries, including number one in Bulgaria and number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. The track, which has over 100 million streams on Spotify, was also certified Silver in the UK for selling over 200 thousand copies and hit Platinum in the star’s home country.

“On My Love”, which features global hit-maker David Guetta, has also been a commercial success. The song, which is a Dance-pop style track, peaked at number 38 on the UK Singles Chart and at number 23 on the UK Dance Chart.
The “Lush Life” singer excited fans with the news of the new album and tour, which will kick-start for her UK supporters in Manchester on 16 February. Larsson took to X to share the announcement: “VENUS, FEBRUARY 9TH, 2024 https://zaralarssonofficial.com”

The new LP will follow up from Larsson’s third studio album titled Poster Girl. The 2021 record was a great success for the popstar who burst onto the scene a few years ago with the anthem “Lush Life”. Poster Girl was described by Emma Swann from DIY as “pure pop escapism.” Nick Levine from NME said: “The singer’s third album, veering from elegant electro-pop to grittier R&B, was well worth the wait. When she sings “this girl’s having fun”, you believe her” and gave the record 4 out of 5 stars.
