Stereophonics have been announced as a headlining act at Lytham Festival 2019 along with Rod Stewart and Kylie Minogue. This will be the seasides festivals 10th anniversary and as organisers described as its biggest line-up ever. Lytham will run from Wednesday 10th July until Sunday 14th July. The line-up so far is Stereophonics will play on Thursday 11th, Kylie Minogue on Friday 12th and Rod Stewart will play on Saturday 13th July 2019. Stereophonics being a headline act follows the success of their gold-certified album ‘Scream Above The Sounds’ which includes major hits such as ‘Caught By The Wind’ ‘All In One Night’ and ‘Taken A Tumble’.
Promoted by Jaguar Lytham Festival director Peter Taylor said: ‘We are thrilled to be bringing Stereophonics to Lytham Festival. They are one of the biggest British bands of the last 20 years and we can’t wait to see them bring their sensational live show to the Lancashire coast.
‘They have penned some of the best British rock hits in the last two decades and we know the Lytham Festival audience is going to go to absolutely love this.’
He continued to speak about other headliners: ‘As Kylie was announced for Glastonbury we saw an immediate spike in sales for her Lytham show and we are now very close to selling out.’
After their debut album ‘World Gets Around’ was released 20 years ago, Stereophonics’ released their 10th studio album ‘Scream Above The Sounds’. The band consists of founding members Kelly Jones and Richard Jones, along with Adam Zindani and Jamie Morrison. Tony Kirkhan, long-term keyboardist joins the band for live shows.
Tickets for Lytham Festival 2019 are on sale now. For a five day pass, which gains you entry to all five concerts across the five days is priced at £249. A single day pass for Stereophoics on Thursday 11th July 2019 is priced at £47.50 not including booking fee. There are also other packages available such as the Lounge Package which includes a VIP area with ‘the best view in the house’ and this is priced at £300. The festival will run from 10th July until the 14th of July and you can purchase tickets here.
