Comic Relief’s charity event Sport Relief of this year has announced that Rita Ora and The Pussycat Dolls as the musical guests to perform at the event this coming Friday 13th, February. The telethon will be broadcasted live from 7PM on BBC One, which takes place in Salford, Manchester.
The 29-year-old pop star will debut the performance of her new single “How to Be Lonely”. The track is written by Scottish singer/part-time comedian Lewis Capaldi, who stated that he was “f**king s**te” at singing this song, hence passing the honour to Ora to sing it. The studio version of the upcoming single will be premiered tomorrow at 10AM. Watch the two stars teasing the track from the tweet below.

Official Charts reviewed the “Anywhere” hitmaker’s new single that it is a “genuine collaboration” between two big UK powerhouses. The track is also impressive with a “Coldplay-sized chantalong” chorus tinged with an acoustic guitar sound, added up with the singer celebrating self-love—a hot trend in pop music nowadays.
Alongside the Masked Singer host, the Pussycat Dolls are listed as the other big musical headliner to rock the stage at the event. They are set to promote their reunion single “React“. John Newman, meanwhile, will make a premier of his new song “Stand by Me”, as well as UK’s rising star Celeste who will again awe the audience with her goosebumps-induced “Strange”.
KSI, the rapper who rose to fame from his YouTube channel, will also make the first television appearance with his top 20 single “Wake Up Call”. The cast of Back to the Future is scheduled to perform a medley of the songs from the musical, while the Dear Evan Hansen troupe will make a live rendition of “You Will Be Found”.
Sport Relief is a biennial charity event run by Comic Relief, in association with BBC Sports. The event is aimed to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s financially struggling countries by bringing sports and entertainment altogether. Gary Lineker and Paddy McGuinness return as the hosts of the event, which will air on Friday on BBC One.
