10 new bands have been added to this year’s Sonisphere line-up which takes place at Knebworth Park from 4th-6th July. The latest additions are Dream Theater, Devil You Know, Yashin, The Cadillac Three, Glamour Of The Kill, Palm Reader, Broken Hands, Fort Hope, The One Hundred, and Collibus.
Dream Theater will be headlining the Saturn Stage on Sunday for their first appearance at the festival. They join an illustrious list of headliners that already includes Metallica, Iron Maiden and The Prodigy. Fellow debut Sonisphere-goers Devil You Know feature Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones along with an experienced band that features members of All Shall Perish, Devolved and Bleeding Through.
These new announcements are the latest additions to a bill that already includes Deftones only 2014 UK show, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Reel Big Fish, Limp Bizkit, Anthrax, Carnifex, The Devin Townsend Project, Dropkick Murphys, The Sisters Of Mercy, Silverstein, The Virginmarys Protest The Hero, Alestorm, Truckfighters, Kerbdog, Only Crime, Blitz Kids, iTCH, Max Raptor, Hounds, Voodoo Six, Chas & Dave, Mastodon, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Ghost B.C, Airbourne, Gojira and Karnivool.
This year’s festival is fast becoming one of the biggest Sonisphere Festivals so far and their deposit scheme has helped the festival’s most loyal fans secure their places.
