The new show from the London punk-rockers is being put out on the bands YouTube page and it is in support of the ‘Love Record Stores Campaign’. Being a short six minute snippet of their conversation, the video portrays the bands quirky demeanor with the strange editing and lighthearted questioning.
This is the third in the series by the band and it gives fans a new insight into the dynamic of the band and it is very much how you would expect it to be; lighthearted and jovial. This particular interview melds two worlds you would not expect to ever be together, I never thought I would see a former Spice Girl being interviewed by a London post-punk band. But, stranger things have happened in the last two months, so I should not be surprised by it.
The band took to Twitter to announce it in an unconventional way;
Who’s the next guest we should have on shamestation?

Shame have ended up being one of the most sought after bands in British punk right now finding themselves up there with counterparts Idles and Fontaines D.C. which herald a coming bright age for the scene within the UK. The band have not only proved that they are a band with considerable talent, they could also have another career in the television industry coming. Though, I would not expect to see them on late nights anytime soon.
Earlier this year the band confirmed they had finished recording their second album, so maybe we can expect to hear some of that later this year. This has been highly sought after since they released their acclaimed debut effort ‘Songs of Praise’ all the way back in 2018 which feels a lifetime away now. That got nominated for two Top 100 Albums of the Year and one Top 50 Albums of the Year from Piccadilly, Rough Trade and Paste respectively.
