SBTRKT dropped a remix of Adele’s ‘Chasing Pavements’ on his Soundcloud today. The remix dates back to 2008 when the producer made the cut for XL records, however the dubplate never saw an official release – and with all the media hype surrounding Adele’s new album 25, now seems the perfect time to drop a seven year old Adele remix.

The description on Soundcloud reads: “was looking through old hard drive files and found this unreleased remix dub i made for XL back in 2008.” And the song plays like buried treasure too – A bass heavy rendering of what Adele would sound like at a late night cocktail bar in Shoreditch.
