S-Club 7 have announced they are back with a huge UK and Ireland tour, called The S Club 7 Reunited Tour. They are reuniting after eight years, to celebrate 25 years of S Club 7.
The seven members of the band consists of Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Bradley McIntosh, Paul Cattermole and Jon Lee. They have planned to begin an 11-date arena tour, in October. They posted a statement to their social media, after announcing their comeback in an interview on BBC’s The One Show.

During the interview on The One Show, S Club 7 band member Rachel Stevens announced the news saying,
‘’We are very excited to say that we are going back out on tour in October. We’re just so excited to get back out there and sing our hearts out and perform. We’re celebrating 25 years which is just crazy.’’ Bradley McIntosh went on to give an insight into what fans could expect from the tour, ‘’we’re bringing the nostalgia, obviously, we’re bringing the late-nineties early-noughties. So it’s a lot of fun. It’s very positive our music, it’s very positive. And I think in todays times we need a bit of positive, we need a bit of picking up so that’s what we’re here to do.’’
The band teased an announcement on social media last week. On Instagram, they posted a video with the caption, ‘’Ain’t no party like an S Club Party

The group, who was formed by former Spice Girls manager, Simon Fuller in 1998, have had four UK number one singles, with ‘’Bring It All Back’’, ‘’Don’t Stop Movin’’, ‘’Have You Ever’’ and ‘’Never Had a Dream Come True.’’ Their album, 7, also made number one in the UK albums charts. They sold over 10 million albums worldwide and won two Brit awards in the early 2000’s. They won the Breakthrough Artist award in 2000 and Best Song in 2002 for their number one hit, ‘’Dont Stop Moving.’’
As well as their chart topping success, the band had their own tv series, Miami 7. Thirteen episodes of the show aired on CBBC from April until July, in 1999. The show also aired in America, but was renamed S Club 7 in Miami and aired on Fox Family, now known as Freeform. The group also released their own movie, Seeing Double, in 2003. The band split up in 2003, before reuniting in 2014 for a performance on Children In Need.
The tour will kick off at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, on October 13, and continue by travelling around arenas across the UK and Ireland.
