Royal Blood have released a new music video for their song Limbo. The English rock duo debuted the song in a performance that took place virtually on the popular online video game Roblox on Saturday March 27th.
The laser-filled performance was part of a three-song set Royal Blood delivered during the Roblox “Bloxy Awards” which awards the artistic, creative, and social abilities of its playerbase. The band have now released a video to accompany the punchy track. Speaking on Limbo, the duo described the song as “without a doubt the most ambitious and wildest we have allowed ourselves to be and we can’t wait to invite you this far down the rabbit hole with us.”
The video features groups of masked motorcycle gangs riding around and dancing. The video culminates in the faceless gangs having a peculiar dance battle before riding into the night. On the video’s release Royal Blood tweeted: “Safety third. Always wear a helmet. Limbo directed Joao Retorta”.

Limbo is the third single release from Royal Blood’s upcoming album Typhoons which is due for release on April 30th 2021. Other singles Trouble’s Coming and title track Typhoons were released previously with Troubles Coming appearing on the soundtrack for games FIFA 21 and NHL 21. The bands’ third studio album had previously been delayed as a result of the pandemic. Royal Blood’s last album release was 2017’s How Did We Get So Dark?
