In conversation with NME, Royal Blood discussed where they would go next following their second album, ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’.
Vocalist and bassist Mike Kerr said: “We’ve thought about it. We’re pretty busy at the moment. We’ve written a few bits, but we’re kind of still in the thrust of touring. Until that comes to an end, we won’t be embarking on much as of yet”.
Kerr hinted about the musical style of new music, saying: “As long as it’s rock music, and it’s me and him smashing the shit out of some instruments and having a laugh, then it could be a reggae record for all that we care”
Sam Fender was confirmed as an act for July’s Mad Cool Festival Line Up. Clairo, Glass Animals and Placebo were further named. Other acts billed include Billie Eilish, The Killers, Taylor Swift, and Twenty One Pilots.
