Celeste, a new soul songstress from Brighton, has announced her biggest tours to date in the UK starting next year in April. The tours will start on April 27, including a show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. Tickets are available here.
The 24-year-old singer is in the centre of attention in the music scene right now. After the breakout acclaim for her divine voice and latest EP Lately, the British-Jamaican soulful singer has embarked on a number of shows as both supporting and headlining acts that spawned her with praise from both the media and the public. Sunday Times Culture, for example, regarded her as the “the real soul-baring deal.”
The Lately EP contains five tracks, including “Summer”, a sensual ode to the season and yearning for love, and “Father’s Son”, a song about absent fathers. And her latest offer “Strange”, a track that directly speaks about the strangeness of how our relationships keep changing, has helped Celeste garner even more acclaim from music critics and listeners.
Earlier this year, Celeste opened her headline shows in London at Omeara for three consecutive days on November 12, 13, and 14. All dates were completely sold out, marking the singer’s one of her biggest achievements as an artist. Now, Celeste is ready to go on the road once again, and this time she will come back to the UK next year in April for three-date shows. Check out the dates below.
