A representative of Facebook has confirmed to Motherboard that Lil B has been banned for 30 days and the offending posts have been deleted from his page.
According to Motherboard, “Lil B has been on a recent social media tear discussing, in blunt terms, complex issues about race in America. On Twitter and on Facebook, the rapper has recently called out everything from the double standards around visual codes for “threatening” and “safe” in society, to the legacy of slave ownership in the US.”
However, his posts have seen also seen him expressing his love for all humans, including a controversial post about “hugs for racists” because “they may be mad but they need love”
Facebook will not reveal the contents of the posts that have seen the rap star be banned. According to the rapper, he was also banned in 2014 for 30 days after ranting about race, animal rights, sex trafficking and rape.
