Raleigh Ritchie has shared the latest track “Party Fear” from his upcoming second album ‘Andy‘. The track is also the second preview, following the lead single “Aristocrats“. Have a listen to the tune below.
Ahead of the release of his new LP, the ‘Game of Throne‘ star has blessed us with a new impactful tune. Titled “Party Fear“, the song is the fourth song on the 12-track ‘Andy‘ that talks about social anxiety, a recurring theme in Ritchie’s music.
“I don’t like fun when it’s organised. Don’t wanna socialize, I feel shit. So I sit with a cat I hate, and stroke it,” the 29-year-old frankly raps about how he is repulsed by the idea of social gathering and prefers to be home with a pet. Such a perfect anthem for all introverts out there!
And there goes the hook that would get right into the feels: “Can we be clear? I get party fear. I get anxious drinking beer. I can’t do it. I don’t want to be here. I wish I could disappear. Dig a hole and climb into it.”
“Party Fear” is produced by frequent collaborator Chris Loco, who has helped the singer craft monstrous bangers since the first project ‘You’re a Man Now, Boy‘ released back in 2016. Tune in now.
Last week, the “Stronger Than Ever” singer talked with Travis Mills on Beats 1 about the forthcoming full-length. The Bristol star spoke about the writing process: “I thought to myself, ‘What are the things I’ve been scared to write about before?’ So I set myself that challenge, and that’s what the album ended up being.”
‘Andy‘ is available in full on July 26, under Ritchie’s new contract with Alacran Records. Pre-order and pre-save for the album are up now on every platform.
