A few days ago, Radiohead’s enigmatic lead man Thom Yorke took to Twitter to announce that Radiohead were initially contacted about doing the theme song for the latest Bond film ‘Spectre’.

The producers of ‘Spectre’ of course did not care for the song and went with Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s on the Wall'; which itself was met to mixed reviews; with some regarding it as one of the better Bond songs of recent times yet some regarding it as one of the worst.
Radiohead have now since released their song for a free download, accessible on soundcloud:

The Radiohead version has been met to widespread critical acclaim, which comes as no surprise as Radiohead are often regarded as being one of the most consistently phenomenal bands around and a true testament to the English music scene.
