Despite lead singer Thom Yorke having called ‘Creep’ a “crap song” in the past, Radiohead surprised everyone with their performance last night in Paris at Le Zenith with a performance of their 1993 hit song.
As you can tell from the video, the introduction to ‘Creep’ got a rapturous reaction from the crowd; then again, I imagine so did most of the songs they did; after all they are Radiohead fans at a Radiohead gig.
Radiohead also led with a version of ‘True Love Waits’ in the manner it is seen on their new album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’. ‘True Love Waits’ has been part of Radiohead’s set list for over 10 years now, with the song first being released in 1995. However this is the first time that the song has been released officially on a studio album.
Radiohead’s lastest album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ was released a few weeks ago on 8th May to the expected commercial and critical acclaim and in doing so became their sixth UK chart topping album. The tracklist can be found below:
“Burn the Witch” – 3:40
