Pixies have announced multiple dates for a massive European tour happening this Autumn. The tour will take place in September and October and it will coincide with the release of the band’s seventh album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Head Carrier’.
The tour will stop off in multiple UK cities before moving the band travel to the rest of Europe. The tour dates and ticket information can be seen below in the band’s Facebook post.
Little information about the album has been released except that it will be accompanied with a new podcast entitled ‘Past Is Prologue’.
The band had this to say of the podcast, “Imagine that 14 years after returning to the scene, you’re back in the studio recording a new album to build on your legacy and take your place at the forefront of the genre that YOU created. Imagine that you’re a member… of the Pixies.”
“Every episode will document the band’s new music, from its earliest stages through to completion, giving fans the opportunity to witness the evolution of the tracks.”
