Grunge icons Pearl Jam have announced their return with a stint of European dates for next summer.
Kicking off in Amsterdam in early June, the tour will take Eddie Vedder and co. all over the country, including two dates at London’s O2 Arena, on June 18 & 19. Tickets go on sale here from December 8.
The tour will conclude at Portgual’s wildly popular NOS Alive festival, and will see the band headline in Lisbon, alongside the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Wolf Alice, Future Islands, and many more.
Demand to see the band perform remains incredibly high, despite the fact that Pearl Jam haven’t released new music since 2013’s Lightning Bolt. The band have recently released a new track, however, with the song ‘Obey the Law of the Heart’ being contributed to the soundtrack of Brie Larson-starring film Basmati Blues last month.
Pearl Jam were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year. They were inducted by former Late Show host David Letterman, who delivered a well received speech, after Neil Young-who was initially supposed to induct the band- had to drop out.
