Oli Sykes recently shared on TikTok an excerpt of some new “Bring Me The Horizon” material, asking his fans, “Is this too crazy?

From what we can hear in the clip it sounds as though the new track by the Sheffield-based band draws some similarities from tracks such as ‘Dear Diary’ and ‘Parasite Eve’ off their latest EP ‘Post Human Survival Horror’. The similarity is probably intentional as the track is likely to feature as part of the band’s planned series of ‘Post Human’ releases which follows on from their 2020 EP.
In January Sykes was interviewed by NME where he suggested that anything they would be working on is likely to feature as part of the aforementioned releases. “We’re actually working on parts two, three and four simultaneously and working on ideas from all the records. There’s a good chance that we might release songs from each before we release the next record. In terms of an actual record, I’d like to wait until we’ve toured this year. We’ve got so much to play from ‘Survival Horror’ that if we try to release another record before that then it’ll be like: ‘What the fuck do we play?’ I’d like to sample a bit of all three of the new records before one comes out, just so everyone gets an idea of what they’re going to sound like.”
As well as working on new music Bring Me The Horizon are also gearing up for their Post Human Tour along with support acts in You Me At Six and Nova Twins.
