Nova Twins are Amy Love (lead singer, guitars) and Georgia Smith (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), childhood friends who formed the band in London back in 2014 and shortly after released their famous track ‘Bassline B*tch‘. Mixing grungy rock riffs with punk attitude and grime-sensibilities, the duo have been successfuly buidling their reputation ever since and avoiding genre boundaries with fresh take on the scene, raw passion and energetic live performances.
Following their first few EPs, Nova Twins toured with the likes of Prophets of Rage, Wolf Alice, Little Simz, Skunk Anansie and Fever 333, and got the attention of industry titans such as Tom Morello. The duo are currently signed for the independent record label Wrecklords 333 Crew, formed in 2019 by the charismatic Jason Aalon Butler of Fever 333 and previously Letlive.
Earlier this year, Nova Twins released their debut record Who Are The Girls? on 28 February 2020 via Wrecklords 333, featuring 10 killer tracks that have immediately gained universal acclaim from fans and critics.

Upon the album release, John Longbottom from Kerrang! gave it a 4/5, saying: “from its furious themes to the explosive energy and the livewire sound, you’d be hard pressed to find a band doing anything quite like this right now, and it’s genuinely exciting to think what Nova Twins can achieve with these 10 tracks of pure sonic power in their hands“.
Praise and recognition have been coming their way from all directions this year, with influential radio DJ Sophie K recently calling them “one of the most exciting things in music right now” and “just what rock needs” right now. Well deserved and maybe a little overdue, Nova Twins also grabbed the Best UK Breakthrough Band at the 2020 Heavy Music Awards from September. If all of this does not sound convincing enough, listen to their killer collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon on ‘1×1‘ featured as one of the absolute highlights of their viral new EP Post Human: Survival Horror.
