The possible new music will no doubt be a key feature and talking point within the artist’s appearance on ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2. Within the interview, scheduled for 29th April 2021 at 6:30, Ball has revealed via the show’s website that “Noel Gallagher calls in to tell Zoe about some very exciting news.”. The Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds singer and guitarist, also announced another radio appearance, which will hopefully reveal more information concerning the release. Gallagher posted via Twitter, that he will also be talking with Dave Berry on Absolute Radio on 29th April 2021 at 9 am.
Gallagher revealed earlier this month that he was working on new music and the singer cited the lockdown as an opportunity to work on his next album. The singer spoke to Matt Morgan on his podcast, ‘Funny How?’, concerning the development of his new album.
“I’ve been in the studio on a bit of a roll. Bit of a run, bit of a purple patch, some mega tunes, really fucking great. I’m doing the songs for a new album. I’ve been in the studio every day. If I didn’t have that, I don’t know where I’d be at now. If I wasn’t going in there every day. Actually, some fucking great stuff has come out of it.”
Gallagher went on to discuss his influences and music-making process. “electro shimmer pop It’s not electro at all really. It’s just because their demos, when you hear the finished thing it will be unrecognisable to that but it will still have the same vibe, Everything is motoring, well actually, just cruising. As soon as everything opens I’ll just be living the dream again. My studio is in town so I’ll be in town, going to the pub for lunch, going back to the studio pissed up, shouting at people.”
An Oasis reunion will always be a fan’s first thought when such mysterious news is posted, and this announcement is no different, rumours have been circulating that the release date relates to new Oasis material, rather than the singer’s solo work. Conspiracies concerning the Twitter post’s meaning have been heightened by the news which confirmed that the Gallagher brothers have created their own production company, Kosmic Kyte. Ever since the production company’s confirmation in March, Fans have hoped that the famous feud has ended, and the ‘Supersonic’ siblings will work together again musically.
