Noel Gallagher has shared a demo for a new song, We’re Gonna Get There In The End. The former Oasis star shared the song he only wrote a couple of weeks ago with his band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds this morning, the 31st of December as a way to end out what has been a historically terrible year for everyone. Noel said the song is very appropriate for the year we’ve all had.
Noel released a statement on Twitter to announce the song, saying; “Firstly let me wish everyone a Happy New Year, things can only get better from here!! (saying that, they couldn’t get much worse could they?!) Anyway I’ve been writing and noodling recently and I’ve made a little demo of a tune that I wrote a couple of weeks ago and it actually came out sounding pretty good. The lyrics are quite apt for the times and I think I’d like to share it with you. The song is called ‘We’re Gonna Get There In The End’.”

His fans were ecstatic to hear the news, many of them took to the comment sections to express their joy for the last demo of 2020. One fan commented on the song saying; “Yassssssssss here comes noel to sing us out of a shit year and into a new one with a beauty of a song. Noel it’s good to have you back.” Another added; “Sometimes a demo just works ! This is a perfect example… For me the magic of Noels music is its simplicity and any over production takes away the magic… This just catches the spirit of a moment in time and confirms the talent Noel has lives on. Banging fair play.”
This is Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds first release after their EP Blue Moon Rising back in March of this year. The EP included the singles Wandering Star, Blue Moon Rising and Come On Outside.
