Mae Muller has recently released her new, highly anticipated EP No One Else, Not Even You via Capitol Records. The upbeat, fun and completely honest eight-tracked EP, including new single dependent, oozes confidence in her own voice and style. Mae announced the news on Instagram saying; “The support has already been mind blowing. I’m so grateful and overwhelmed. We worked so hard on this project and to see it out in to the world.”
Mae also released the lyric video for her single off the EP dependent. Talking about the single Mae said; “That’s what always happens when I start to fall for someone: instead of going with the flow and just enjoying myself, I start to panic a bit because of the power you have to give up. This song is me being totally honest about not wanting to become dependent on someone, because my independence is so important to me.
The video featured animations from graphic designer Bianca Bosso and was directed by Bianca Bosso and Interns Creative. The other lyric videos were directed by Adult Art Club.
Mae has also released a video of her virtual live show at the O2 Fourm Kentish Town. Mae was supposed to be playing a show there this year but it had to be cancelled because of the ongoing COVID-19 global health crisis, so she decided to treat fans to a special virtual experience. Her shows have been rescheduled to April 2021.
Announcing the show, Mae said on Instagram; ” So, I was meant to be going on tour in a couple of weeks. and putting on my biggest show at Kentish Town Forum but obviously that couldn’t happen… so we decided to go anyway and film the most STUNNING show for you guys! I wish you could have been there but this is the next best thing.”
