Last year the pandemic was a main reason for gigs, tours and festivals cancellations. This year, with the vaccination programme and government ‘roadmap’ stage taking place, live shows predictions look more optimistic. Some events have put tickets on sale already, others cancelled early this year, like Glastonbury, or Download Festival.
On a good note, the Victorious festival in Southsea, Portsmouth will take place this summer on Bank Holiday Weekend and has announced a great line up. Andy Marsh, the festival director said: ‘This year’s line-up is my personal favourite. It feels like we have achieved an exciting combination of headliners, rising artists, and the return of some family favourites too. We believe there really is something for everyone to enjoy this Summer and we can’t wait to welcome you all!’’.
