Mabel has just been added to the lineup of North East’s biggest ever music festival, LooseFest. The two-day festival is set to take place in Newcastle’s Town Moor on the 30th and 31st July. The 26 year old singer, best known for her single “Don’t Call Me Up”, will be joining the likes of AJ Tracey, Joel Corry, Clean Bandit, Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Dimitri From Paris, Example and recently revealed headliner, Black Eyed Peas. One of the founding members of LooseFest, Dean Saunders, said: “We are delighted to add Mabel to our LooseFest 2022 line up! We absolutely love her new track ‘Good Luck’ and we can’t wait for her to join us, on what is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated weekends of the year this summer!”
Mabel is confirmed to perform on the Sunday of LooseFest. The talented singer and songwriter solidified her place in the music world ever since the release of her 2019 debut album, High Expectations, which was the highest selling debut record by a woman in the whole of 2019. A year after the album went platinum, she remained in the spotlight for winning the Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist. The UK singer is known for her recent released tracks “I Wish” and “Good Luck”, as well as her string of smash hits which include “Let Them Know”, “Mad Love”, “Boyfriend” and “Tick Tock” (which features Clean Bandit who will also be performing at this year’s LooseFest). LooseFest has been billed as the largest music festival to have ever taken place in Newcastle. On the festival’s twitter account they announced that the festival will hold 60,000 people, have 5 all-weather stages and over 80 incredible musical acts performing. There will also be multiple food stalls and bars in their street food village, as well as a ferris wheel. They have promised a huge festival production, with an atmosphere to fit for all.
The announced lineup for the festival so far is shown below:
The event is strictly for 18+, with gates opening and music starting at 12:00pm. There are multiple ticket options available, giving people the option to buy just a single day ticket for either the Saturday or Sunday, or the full weekend ticket.
