M Huncho has announced the ‘Farewell Tour’. The masked rapper took to his Instagram at 10 am this morning to announce his upcoming tour. The 28 year old shared the tour dates alongside a caption that read “It’s time to say farewell…Firstly, I’m sorry for the wait, COVID-19 had us all f’d up so I couldn’t go forward with the tour. If you purchased tickets to the ‘Huncholini The 1st tour’ your tickets will still be valid at these shows. Remaining tickets go on sale this Friday 10am‼️ See you in March”.
The rapper naming his upcoming tour the ‘Farewell Tour’ has left fans in confusion with the comments on his recent post filled with fans questioning what he is saying farewell to. Many fans are assuming he is saying farewell to his mask due to it being so prominent in the tour poster, while others fear he is saying farewell to music as a whole. Huncho is a religious man, following the Islamic religion where the music he creates is perceived as haram. If this is Huncho’s farewell to the music he won’t be the first artist to turn away from creating music due to religious reasons, with Chunkz quitting his music career in May 2021.
M Huncho released his last project Huncholini the 1st nearly 2 years ago in January 2020 and had planned a tour following the projects release announcing dates and selling tickets, unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic cancelled these shows, making this tour Huncho’s first tour since the release of his last project which reached number 5 in the national charts.
