Masked musician M Huncho too to his Instagram to share a photo of his upcoming single cover art alongside the caption “Warzone 10/02”. The excitement for the track doubled when fans of the wave rapper saw that he had tagged Tottenham’s drill sensation Headie One.
The track will be the first track Huncho has put out since his “Hiatus (Freestyle)” which was his last of 2021. The track was only the 3rd solo release the rapper had put out in 2021, with the 28-year-old having put out a number of features alongside Potter Payper, Unknown T, Nafe Smallz and Yxng Bane.
The collaboration between M Huncho and Headie will be the 5th time the pair have appeared on a track together. The two first collaborated in 2018 alongside Headie One regular collaborator RV and engineer Fumez the engineer on the track “Art of War”, Huncho then featured on Headie’s first solo project The One and featured Huncho on the track “Secure The Bag”. Following their success the two linked up again 2 years later, Headie One featured M Huncho on the track “Bumpy Rides” which featured on Headies chart-topping Album Edna. The Tottenham rapper then repaid the favour and featured on Huncho’s last solo project Huncholinin the 1st, which got the rapper his first top 10 project with Huncholini the 1st debuting at 5th. Headie featured on the track titled “Head Huncho”.
Both rappers have had a quiet 2021, with Headie releasing a project titled “Beggars can’t be choosers” with the rest of his release being singles that would eventually feature on the project. The rapper went on to end 2021 with a number of features with international rap stars, the first being a track with Italian rapper Shiva in the track “Aston Martin” and then on the track “10von10” with two german rappers Luciano and Pajel .
The rappers will be looking to kick 2022 off correctly with their upcoming collaboration, as well as M Huncho’s farewell tour set to take place in March.
