2020 Love Island winner, Paige Turley has just released her first single since leaving the villa in January. Paige has partnered up with The House & Garage Orchestra to release a cover of the Artful Dodger classic Movin’ Too Fast.
Speaking to The Daily Mail about the release, Paige said; “Since leaving the Love Island villa I’ve been working on original songs but wanted to start putting some music out as soon as possible. During lockdown the opportunity to release one of my favourite house tracks with a 36-piece instrument arrangement was a total dream come true.”
Paige has also signed a record deal with New State Music. Speaking about Paige, a representative said; “Having heard Paige sing ‘Show Me Love’ back in January, we knew she had incredible talent so were 100% on board to collaborate. We’re always on the lookout for talented new musicians and knew ‘Movin’ Too Fast’ would be the perfect fit for Paige’s voice. The House & Garage Orchestra is an ensemble of the very best in the biz and we couldn’t be happier to have produced a song with such talented musicians. We hope you love it as much as we do!”
While many people will recognise Paige from her whirlwind romance with Finley Tapp in the villa, she also made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012, at only 14 years of age. At her audition, where she sang Bon Iver’s Skinny Love, Simon Cowell described her as having a “really interesting and unique voice.”
Paige Turley’s single Movin’ Too Fast is available to download and stream now on Apple Music and Spotify.
