English Indie Rock band ‘Little Comets’ have announced their UK tour, with dates starting in October this year. Currently, sixteen dates have been announced for the impending tour, with the potential for new additions as the year goes on.
The tour takes the band across the country to perform tracks from their massively successful back-catalogue, that have been celebrated by fans since their debut album ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’ was released in 2011. Their most streamed track on Spotify ‘Dancing Song’ proved a hit, early on in the bands career, and was featured on a Radox advert in 2012!
Little Comets have recently released their track ‘American Tuna’, debuting on April 4th of this year, following not long after another single ‘The Sneeze’ which was released in March. Both tracks have received positive feedback from fans, and more records can be expected for later this year.
Singer Rob Coles has expressed his excitement for the tour ahead stating “we’ve spent so much time in the studio this year that we can’t wait to play these creations live”. Little Comets’ previous albums have been filled with upbeat, guitar-driven British indie sounds, and after listening to the two latest singles; we can expect the same quirky lyrics and catchy melodies from their upcoming album.
Coles went on to say “The reaction to the new songs has been fantastic, so it will be great to finally play them for people, plus we haven’t toured in two years, so the shows shows should have a real celebratory feel to them!”. It seems that Little Comets have all to celebrate for, already flourishing in 2019, we can only see the band reaching success after success.
