Jack white has released a live recording of a song before his White Stipes days called ‘Itchy’, by his old band Two-Star Tabernacle.

Recorded live at Detroit’s Gold Dollar in 1999, ‘Itchy’ is a punk flavoured rockabilly song that seems like it will fly away at the seems at any point, while White (styling himself as Jackson White) barks raspy lyrics over strangled guitars. You can check out a clip of the track yourself, below:

The song comes as part of a whole host of rare material Jack White is releasing on the vinyl-loving Third Man Records. members of the label’s Vault series have also recieved rare recordings by other Jack White affiliated bands The Go and Jack White & The Bricks in the form of 3 gold LPs.
