Lily Allen is reportedly going to appear on BENEE’s highly-anticipated debut album Hey u x, which will be out on November 13th. Lily will feature on BENEE’s track Plain with Flo Milli. The album will feature a range of other artists including; Grimes, Mallrat and Kenny Beats.
BENEE spoke to the NZ Herald about the collaborations saying; “Oh my goodness, I still don’t quite believe that they’re all going to be on it, because I’m such a huge fan of all of their work.” She said she reached out to artists who she was inspired by, with verses she had written and would see what the artists could bring to the song themselves to make it even better.
This will be Lily Allen’s first track since her 2018 album No Shame which peaked at number eight in the UK charts. The album followed the breakdown of Lily’s marriage to Sam Cooper and the identity crisis she felt afterwards that impacted her music.
