Former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has tweeted today that he’s finished making his debut solo LP, which will be titled As You Were.

The album has already been previewed by lead single ‘Wall of Glass’, and looks set for a full release in October of this year.
Interestingly, As You Were is scheduled to drop just a month before the new project from Liam’s brother, and former Oasis member Noel, is slated to arrive.
Never one to mince his words, Liam spoke openly about a potential chart rivalry between him and his brother, telling Q magazine “I’m sure he definitely knows that I’m fucking gonna come again, without a doubt […]Course he’s fucking arsed. He plays it like he don’t give a fuck.”
Liam was very much up for a legitimate contest with his brother- presumably because it keeps everyone talking about him, and a potential Oasis reunion. “Oh I’m all for it.” he elaborated ” Listen, I’ll go toe to toe with any c**t. If that becomes a fucking circus, then there’s nothing new there, is there? I mean, I’m sure it’ll (Noel’s album) be fucking amazing. But it just won’t be more amazing than mine.”
Gallagher recently made headlines for appearing alongside Coldplay’s Christ Marting for a rendition of Oasis’ classic ‘Live Forever’ during One Love Manchester, hosted by Ariana Grande, to pay tribute to those injured and killed during the terrorist attacks at Grande’s concert last week.
Seemingly unable to keep things from being even a little bit about him on such an occasion, Gallagher took to his infamous Twitter account, to target his ‘sad fuck’ brother, for not returning to his hometown for the concert.
Noels out of the fucking country weren't we all love get on a fucking plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad fuck
