Liam Gallagher has confirmed he will be returning to Manchester’s Heaton Park for a homecoming show next summer. He is set to play on June 12 2020. He has declared through a Twitter post, as seen below, that he will be playing music from his two solo albums and classic hits from his days with Oasis.
Tickets for the gig start from £59.50, and can be purchased from here this Friday at 10am, (November 29).

Special guests supporting Liam have yet to be announced. The event will follow on from his UK Arena Tour. His two remaining dates will see him play London’s 02 Arena, (November 28 and 29). You can check out his full tour list at the end of the article.
The tour supported his second solo album, ‘Why Me?, Why Not’, released in September.
Liam Gallagher recently became the first recipient of the Rock Icon Award at the 2019 MTV European Music Awards. The 2019 MTV EMAs took place on November 3 in the Spanish city of Seville, with performances from Dua Lipa, Akon, Halsey and Green Day. Becky G hosted the event. Yesterday, acts were announced for TRNSMT Festival 2020. At the top of the bill, Gallagher was named, along with The Courteeners and Lewis Capaldi.
The gig at Glasgow Green runs from July 10-12. Acts also scheduled to perform include Ian Brown, Foals, Keane, Sam Fender, Snow Patrol, Little Simz, Blossoms and Rita Ora.
Liam will play after Foals and Keane, headlining the Saturday night. He said, “I love Scotland and It’s an honour to be going back to headline TRNSMT Festival,” he said. “P.s. Have I told you lately that I Love You?”
Lewis Capaldi said in a statement, “I’ve been lucky enough to play TRNSMT every year since it’s inception and to be a headliner is absolutely wild. Things are about to get chubby and sexy, fast. See you up the road next year!”
