Lewis Capaldi has officially been in the Top 10 for the last 66 weeks and had his two singles raking at number one on the official UK charts with ‘Someone you love‘ and ‘Grace‘. His album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ became the biggest album of 2019 reported by the Official Charts. Lewis Capaldi was confirmed as the biggest breakthrough star in 2019 with his single ‘Someone you love’ and known to be a big hit on social media too.
Last year, Lewis Capaldi made fun of Noel Gallagher at Glastonbury’s festival in front of 135,000 people, settling his feud with former Oasis star with his cocky Glastonbury entrance. The Scottish star pretended to imitated Noel Gallagher with a parka and a bucket hat to then reveal his “I love you Noel Gallagher” t-shirt.
The feud sparked after Noel Gallagher made some comments in an interview on Radio X and said “Who’s this Capaldi fella? – Who the fuck’s that idiot?”. It’s fair to say that Lewis Capaldi has been in a few funny situations, at the Grammy’s last year, Lewis Capaldi revealed on Graham Norton’s show (with Jim Carrey, Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith as guests) that he was unfortunately mistaken for a “seat filler”, someone who keeps the “stars” seats busy while they go to the toilet. He commented by saying, “Even if i didn’t win the Grammy’s i was still hoping to stay until the end”.
