The first 750 people who purchased a ticket via DICE will receive a ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’ x Ellesse collaboration t-shirt. The show will also the first time Capaldi performs all songs from the LP live.
Back in November, the music scene came to know a heart-wrenching power ballad, “Someone You Loved“, a new single by Scottish rising star Lewis Capaldi. The track was cut from the ‘Breach‘ EP and later on included in the singer’s first ever full-length with such an interesting title, ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent‘, released in May 2019.
“Someone You Loved” became one of the most commercially successful single in 2019. It peaked atop music charts in many countries, including the UK Singles Chart (for seven consecutive weeks) and Billboard Hot 100 (for three non-consecutive weeks).
In addition to the number one smash, the album spawned multiple hit singles with the likes of “Hold Me While You Wait“, “Grace“, and “Bruises“. All of these popular songs pushed the hype of the LP to number one on the UK Albums Chart, selling over 600,000 copies.
From such incredible attainments, the now 23-year-old was granted with numerous nominations and awards from wide-ranging music critics. The “Someone You Loved” single received a nod from Grammy Awards 2020 for Song of the Year; meanwhile, the Brit Awards named it Song of the Year and gave the singer the Best New Artist award.
Apart from his killer vocal and emotionally-charged sad ballads, Capaldi is also recognised for his hilarious and lovable personalities with sarcastic and silly jokes. Just the post below alone can prove how over-the-top and ridiculous the single is, contrasting all the tear-jerking songs he has released.
