Levitation France (not to be confused with its sister events in Austin, Texas, Chicago Illinois and Vancouver, Canada) has announced its full line-up for its forthcoming three-day festival in June. As of yesterday, the festival has shared its day-by-day line-up, showcasing an extremely impressive roster of bands across the three days. Further information and tickets can be found here.

This year’s iteration of Levitation France marks the ninth year that the festival has been running. The festival’s website states: “The 9th edition of LEVITATION FRANCE will be held from 3 to 5 June 2022, to celebrate, over no less than three days (Pentecost weekend), indie rock in all its forms, in Open Air at the Chabada (Angers!) 27 concerts in total, with artists whose musical aesthetics range from psychedelic to folk, post-punk, noise, no wave or shoegaze. Let’s face it, we have the audacity to believe that this is probably the best line-up we’ve put together this year since Levitation France began.”
Levitation Festival initially began in Austin, Texas in 2008, and has since expanded to other locations in North America; namely Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia. The advent of Levitation France came about in 2013. Past performers at the event include Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Joel Gion, American folk rockers Woods, psychedelic rock band Dead Meadows and English dream pop band The Telescopes.
