Swedish singer/songwriter LÉON has dropped a new song and, “And It Breaks My Heart,” accompanying with a music video. The track is a follow up to previously released singles, “In a Stranger’s Arms” and “Who You Lovin.”
LÉON, full name Lotta Lindgren, has continued a hot streak of heartbroken bangers with a brand-new song titled “And It Break My Heart.” The song is serving a nostalgic vibe, tinged with a series of beautiful strings and thumping beat contrasting such emotional mood.
“Think of days when I was yours seems so long ago / Now we’re standing in the cold, nervous when we talk / Such a sadness in your eyes and now you’re looking down / You’re trying hardest not to show it,” LÉON sings about the good old time when love was still well and alive.
This recent offering reminds us of her one of the best works from her self-titled first era, “You and I,” a sad banger that will make you want to dance through the teary eyes. Check out the song and its visual featuring the storyline of a couple on the edge breaking apart, which accelerates a tear-jerking experience listening to the track.
Lindgren first broke into the music scene back in 2015 with Katy Perry-approved tune “Tired of Talking” from debut EP ‘Treasure.‘ With this EP, she was initially signed to major label Columbia Records and dropped two more EPs in 2017: ‘For You‘ and ‘Surround Me.‘
In 2018, LÉON parted from Columbia and made a new deal with BMG to jumpstart her very first proper era. After introducing two acclaimed soulful tracks “Baby Don’t Talk” and “Falling“, the singer subsequently dropped her debut eponymous full-length in 2019 to wide-ranging positive reviews for her unique husky voice and gorgeously-written sad love songs.
With her emerging stardom to the mainstream, the singer landed the ‘You and I‘ tour in support of the record around Europe and America, including a show in London’s Islington Assembly Hall back in April 2019. Since then, she has been unstoppably shared music with fans.
So far, LÉON has gained over 440 million total global streams and seems to launch the second record anytime soon this year. Check out “And It Breaks My Heart” now on every platform, and keep up with her on social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
