
Famous British festival Glastonbury and the Shangri-La area have just announced some new names to take on the stage in June. Along the announced names were Kneecap, Jehnny Beth, Bambie Thug and Fatboy Slim.
On top of the names being revealed, the festival revealed that the theme for the legendary corner of Worthy Farm would be The Wilding.
This year will see the appearance of brand new spaces joining Nomad too called Lore, Luna and Azaadi. Nomad being considered by NME as “a space for the underrepresented to unite and take up space.” The Shangri-La stage will also be Fatboy Slim’s 100th Glastonbury show. The lineup also includes artists such as Skepta, Joy Anonymous, Mas Tiempo and Example with headliners like Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts and The 1975. Loyle Carner, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morrissette, and Inhaler will play throughout the day.
British sensation Charli XCX is also set to play the festival wit her acclaimed album ‘Brat’ after putting on a serious colourful and fun show for Coachella weekend this month where she was joined by friends and collaborators Troye Sivan, Billie Eilish and Lorde, leaving the crowd wild.
The Glastonbury line-up is also filled with first timers, counting four-time Grammy nominated rapper Doechii, Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes and Lola Young.
Tickets for the festival went on sale back in November and quickly sold out. Cancelled or returned tickets will be re-released for sale on Thursday, April 24 from 6pm.
Ticket and Coach travel options will become available from 6pm on April 24.
General admission tickets will go live on April 27 at 9am, with accommodation options becoming available at 11am on the same day.
It has been confirmed the tickets will cost £378.50, which includes a £5 booking fee per ticket and a £10.25 postage and packaging fee for each order.
