Premier Guitar had this to say concerning the release, “A personal evolution, bringing all aspects of Gordon’s multidisciplinary creativity together under one roof. Her preferred minimalist aesthetic…is adeptly channeled into the sparsely layered songwriting on No Home Record.” Pitchfork stated the following, “Kim Gordon’s thrilling solo debut lives at the vanguard of sound and performance, shot through with the beautiful, unsparing noise that has always defined her art.”

Named as one of the music’s most iconic bassists, she also found success as an author with her 2015 New York Times Bestseller memoir Girl In A Band. The musician has also found success on screen, within the 2018 film Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot. The musician worked with the celebrated director Gus Van Sant and showcased her acting chops alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Jonah Hill.
